Kathy Kimpel Born in Brooklyn and raised in Massachusetts, Kathy was introduced to Kadampa Buddhist teachings more than ten years ago while living in San Francisco. Kathy stresses the practical connection between the teachings of Buddha and the student’s own life experiences.


About the Buddhist Meditation Classes in Riverdale

Based in the traditions of Kadampa Buddhism, each class is structured to include a teaching, two meditations, a group discussion, and a questions and answers session.

No special clothing is required, and pre-registration is not necessary. This class is a branch of Chakrasambara Kadampa Meditation Center in New York.
