Introduction to Buddhist Meditation
Meditation is a simple yet profound method to improve the quality of our lives. Through following very simple, practical instructions we can learn to let go of the causes of our pain and dissatisfaction and to gain the inner peace and clarity we seek.
If we understand how to meditate correctly, we will have real confidence in our practice, and results will arise effortlessly.

Matthew Riechers is a senior teacher at Chakrasambara Buddhist Center and the Teacher of both General and Foundation Program at the Park Slope Branch. He is the Education Program Coordinator at Chakrasambara Buddhist Center where he oversees all the workshops, retreats, and classes. Insightful and humorous, he is appreciated for his clear and articulate presentation of the teachings.
Buddhist Meditation
Classes in Windsor Terrace
Based in the traditions of Kadampa Buddhism, each class is structured
to include a teaching, two meditations, a group discussion, and a questions
and answers session.
No special clothing is required, and pre-registration is not necessary.
